What type of genre of photography do you photograph?
Modern Pinup & Boudoir
How many years have you been a photographer?
16 years running my own studio but I have been photographing as a hobby since my teens.
What do you love most about photography?
Light and color. I am obsessed with playing with these elements and also breaking the rules. I love for my work to tell a story.
When it comes to products, what made you decide to begin offering products to your clients?Technological changes made a huge difference! I had a client call me because she didn’t have a CD-ROM on her computer and I realized in that moment that technology will always evolve and change but what will happen to my clients images?
By offering tangible products, my clients always have access to their photos! Plus there is just something about holding artwork of yourself that you can see and touch in your hands.
Why do you believe print is important?
You don’t want to sit down 10 years later and realize you can’t access your photos or realize that your USB was damaged or lost.
What products are your number one sellers?
Albums!
What other advice would you give to photographers who aren't selling products but may want too?
To just order some samples. Once they have their artwork in print they will never go back. It’s a really special feeling.
What do you love most about working with UAF?
The print quality and color calibration is hands down the best I have ever seen! I shoot very saturated and colorful and it’s hard for printers to render the colors correctly but UAF has that all figured out!
